Indian cricket legend and former captain Sachin Tendulkar has been announced as the recipient of the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award. The award will be presented to him at the BCCI annual event on Saturday. BCCI has chosen Sachin for the prestigious CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award, recognizing his immense contributions to Indian cricket.
About the CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award
The CK Nayudu Award, named after India’s first Test captain, was introduced by BCCI in 1994 in his honor. Nayudu played first-class cricket for a record 47 years (1916-1963), which remains a world record. Sachin will be the 31st recipient of this award. Previous winners include former head coach Ravi Shastri and legendary wicketkeeper Farokh Engineer.
