Rishabh Pant Equals MS Dhoni's Century Record in Test Cricket

Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant marked his Test cricket comeback in style with a brilliant century during the first Test against Bangladesh at Chepauk.

After scoring 39 runs in the first innings, Pant shone in the second innings with a spectacular 109 off 128 balls, hitting 13 fours and 4 sixes. This is Pant's sixth Test century.

In doing so, Pant equaled the legendary MS Dhoni's record for the most centuries by an Indian wicketkeeper in Test cricket. Dhoni achieved this milestone in 90 matches, while Pant did so in just 34 games.

In the match, India set a massive target of 515 runs for Bangladesh. By the end of Day 3, Bangladesh had scored 158/4 in 37.2 overs.
