New World Record Set By Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya has become the No1 ranked T20I all rounder following his standout performances in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup. 

Pandya who played a key role in India's World Cup victory rose two places in the rankings, matching Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga. 

In the final, Pandya took crucial wickets and defended 16 runs in the last over securing the win for India. 

Throughout the tournament he scored 144 runs with a strike rate over 150 and took 11 wickets. 

Other notable ranking changes include Marcus Stoinis, Sikandar Raza, Shakib Al Hasan and Liam Livingstone moving up one spot while Mohammad Nabi dropped out of the top five. 

In the bowling rankings, Anrich Nortje climbed to a career-best second place. 

Jasprit Bumrah, the Player of the Tournament, moved up 12 spots, nearly entering the top ten. Kuldeep Yadav and Arshdeep Singh also saw significant improvements in their rankings, while Aiden Markram dropped slightly in the batting rankings.
