Dhanashree’s Post Goes Viral Amid Divorce with Chahal

As everyone had speculated, the news of Team India cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma’s divorce has turned out to be true. For the past few months, there have been rumors about their separation, and on Thursday, the couple appeared before a family court in Bandra, Mumbai, where the judge granted them a divorce.

Following the court hearing, both Chahal and Dhanashree shared their emotional thoughts on social media in their own unique styles.

Dhanashree posted an emotional message saying, "It’s been understood that the pain and challenges we face can eventually be transformed into blessings by God. If you are feeling stressed or anxious about something today, know that you have another chance. Forget the pain and pray to God. Your faith in Him will make everything turn out for the best." She captioned the post, “Blessings from stress.”

Before this, Chahal also shared a post expressing his gratitude to God, stating that he had been saved countless times by the divine. He mentioned that in tough situations, even before he realized it, God had helped him out. He thanked God for always being his protector. Interestingly, neither of them directly mentioned the divorce in their posts.

National media reported that the couple appeared in court yesterday. Initially, the judge gave them 45 minutes of counseling and inquired about the reasons for their separation. They both agreed on the decision, and the judge approved the divorce. There are also reports that Chahal has agreed to pay Dhanashree a sum of Rs. 60 crores as alimony.

Chahal, who is a cricketer, married Dhanashree, a dentist, on December 22, 2020. Dhanashree gained recognition as a choreographer and social media influencer. After their marriage, the couple entertained their fans by posting reels on Instagram. However, recently, Dhanashree removed the ‘Chahal’ surname from her name, leading to rumors of their divorce. Following that, Chahal shared an Instagram story reading “New life loaded,” which fueled further speculations. The couple also unfollowed each other on social media, confirming the rumors. Eventually, their divorce has been finalized.
