U.S. Population Reaches 340 Million

The population of the United States has reached 340 million, marking the highest growth in 23 years. The country reported a 1% increase in population this year, the largest recorded in recent history.

According to reports, the rise is primarily attributed to immigration. Out of the 3.3 million increase in population this year, 2.8 million were immigrants.

The U.S. also noted that births outpaced deaths in the 2023-24 period. The population grew by 1.7 million in 2022 and by 2.3 million in 2023.
