Trump's Decision is Extremely Dangerous: Warren Buffett

Donald Trump, after assuming office for a second term as the U.S. President, has reignited a trade war, imposing heavy tariffs on Canada, China, and Mexico. These increased tariffs are set to take effect from today.

Amidst these developments, legendary investor Warren Buffett has expressed concerns over Trump's decision. He stated that the trade war initiated by Trump is highly dangerous. "The key question in the economy is always: What comes next? In the current scenario, the U.S. economy is one of the most intriguing aspects of global finance. However, I prefer not to comment on it, as it is a highly complex issue," said Buffett.

Trump has imposed an additional 25% tariff on imports from Canada and Mexico and a 20% tariff on imports from China. These increased tariffs will officially be enforced from March 4 (U.S. time). In retaliation, Canada has announced counter-tariffs, stating that it will impose 25% tariffs on U.S. imports worth $155 billion. Similarly, China has imposed 10-15% tariffs on U.S. imports, which have been in effect since February 11.
