US President Donald Trump has once again issued a stern warning to Hamas regarding the release of hostages. He demanded that all remaining captives be freed immediately, or he would ensure the group's complete destruction. Calling it his "final warning," Trump made the statement through his social media platform, Truth Social.
"Release all the hostages in your custody immediately. Return the bodies of those you have murdered. If not, I will see to your end. I will provide Israel with everything it needs to make that happen. If you fail to comply, not a single Hamas member will be left. I have personally met with the recently freed hostages. This is your last warning. A bright future awaits the people of Gaza, but only if you leave that territory," Trump stated.
This is not the first time Trump has issued a serious warning to Hamas. In December last year, he had also made strong remarks, demanding the immediate release of hostages held by the militant group before he assumes office. He reiterated that if the captives were not freed before his inauguration on January 20, 2025, Hamas would face severe consequences.
Trump has repeatedly declared that failure to comply would result in unprecedented retaliation, warning Hamas of "hellish repercussions" if the hostages are not released. His latest statements once again emphasize his hardline stance on the ongoing Gaza conflict.
