Security Breach During Jaishankar's London Visit

A major security lapse occurred during Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to London, as Khalistani extremists attempted to attack him, creating chaos. The protestors chanted anti-India slogans and tried to disrupt the minister's visit, prompting immediate intervention by London police.

Jaishankar arrived in the UK on March 4 for a five-day official visit, which is set to conclude on March 9. During his visit, he has been attending various diplomatic meetings. On Wednesday night, he participated in an official event at Chatham House in London. As he exited the venue, a group of pro-Khalistani individuals staged a protest, waving Khalistani flags and shouting slogans against India and the minister.

One of the protestors attempted to rush toward Jaishankar’s car while holding an Indian flag, behaving in a manner deemed disrespectful to the national symbol. However, London police swiftly intervened, preventing any harm and taking the individual into custody. The incident has sparked outrage, and videos of the confrontation are now going viral on social media.
