Pope Francis is No More!

Pope Francis (88), the supreme head of the global Christian faith, has passed away. This news was confirmed by Vatican City officials. He had been suffering from respiratory issues for some time and was recently admitted to a hospital for treatment. Just when it seemed like his health was improving, the tragic news was announced by Vatican authorities.

Pope Francis was born as Jorge Mario Bergoglio on December 17, 1936, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was elected as the 266th Pope on March 13, 2013.

Christians across the world look up to the Pope and follow his guidance with great reverence. Pope Francis’ remarks in the past regarding refugees and immigrants sparked global discussions. He urged nations to treat them with compassion and humanity.

He also strongly voiced against environmental destruction and capital punishment. His repeated message to the world was to love fellow human beings, believing that love is what can truly save the planet.

Due to age-related health complications, Pope Francis breathed his last at the age of 88 at his residence, Casa Santa Marta, in Vatican City. Leaders and dignitaries from around the globe are expressing their condolences over his passing.
