JD Vance Defends Indian Wife Against Racism

Ohio Senator JD Vance strongly defended his Indian-American wife Usha, after white supremacist Nick Fuentes made racist remarks about her. Since Vance became Donald Trump's running mate Usha has faced severe scrutiny due to her heritage. In an interview Vance emphasized his admiration for his wife calling her beautiful and smart and stated that attacks should be directed at him not her.

He dismissed Fuentes’ comments noting that Trump, who has not explicitly condemned Fuentes often engages with various individuals without endorsing their views. Vance also highlighted Trump's warm interactions with Usha underscoring that the criticism they face is part of politics.

Despite his controversial past Vance has consistently praised Usha for her unwavering support throughout his career. He expressed frustration over the personal attacks and urged that the focus remain on political issues instead.
