A replica of the Iron Throne from HBO's Game of Thrones sold for nearly Rs 125.25 crore at a Heritage Auctions event in Dallas, which raised over Rs 1,753.5 crore. The plastic throne replica, modeled after the original, sparked a six-minute bidding war, selling for Rs 124.22 crore.
The auction featured over 900 items from the series, including armor, swords, and costumes, drawing over 4,500 bidders. Jon Snow's sword, Longclaw, fetched Rs 33.4 crore while his Night’s Watch outfit sold for Rs 28.15 crore.
Other high value items included Emilia Clarke's Daenerys Targaryen costume at Rs 9.39 crore, Lena Headey's Cersei Lannister dress at Rs 11.48 crore and Jaime Lannister’s armor. Heritage Auctions called it their second most successful entertainment event.
