It's an established fact that India is friends with Russia. It's also known that Russia is fighting with Ukraine.
Generally, a friend's enemy is also an enemy. But India seems to be not looking in those lines.
After congratulating the newly re-elected Russian President Vladimir Putin, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and extended his words of support and also ensured that attempts would be made to end the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi posted on X- "Had a good conversation with President @ZelenskyyUa on strengthening the India-Ukraine partnership. Conveyed India’s consistent support for all efforts for peace and bringing an early end to the ongoing conflict. India will continue to provide humanitarian assistance guided by our people-centric approach."
This shows how India started playing the Big Brother's role akin to the USA in international conflicts.
Responding to this, there are many posts on social media of India going on with a single line "Modi hai toh mumkin hai".
