Months before her fall as Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina warned of conspiracies to overthrow her government and possible assassination similar to her father Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
She also alleged a plot by a foreign power to establish a new Christian country in parts of Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Hasina claimed she was offered an easy re election in January under the condition of allowing a foreign country to build an airbase in Bangladesh which she refused leading to ongoing troubles.
On August 5 amid deadly protests that killed over 100 people in clashes with police Hasina resigned and fled the country as protesters breached her residence.
The military took control and announced an interim government. Hasina arrived at the Hindon Air Force base in India and is expected to seek asylum in London.
The protests have resulted in over 400 deaths since they began.
