Aam Aadmi Party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal criticized Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming Shah has become "arrogant" due to being chosen as Prime Minister Modi's successor.
Kejriwal alleged that during a rally in Delhi, Shah called the people of Delhi “Pakistanis” and that fewer than 500 people attended the event.
Kejriwal questioned Shah's remarks highlighting that the AAP government was elected with 62 seats and a 56% vote share in Delhi.
He asked if the people of Delhi, Punjab, and other states who support AAP were being labeled as Pakistanis. Kejriwal accused Shah of abusing and threatening the people.
During his rally in South Delhi, Shah allegedly stated that Kejriwal and Rahul Gandhi have more support in Pakistan than in India.
Kejriwal responded by accusing Shah of arrogance and asserted that the BJP would not form the government on June 4 based on survey findings.
Kejriwal claimed that after the fifth phase of the Lok Sabha elections surveys indicate the INDIA bloc is likely to win over 300 seats and form the government at the Centre leading to a BJP defeat.
