KT Rama Rao, the former Minister of Telangana, stated today that Revanth Reddy, the current Chief Minister of Telangana, could join BJP once the elections are over. He made this statement in a TV channel interview.
When asked for the reason, KTR stressed that it is likely to happen as there would be no other recourse for Revanth Reddy, who is facing the 'Note-For-Vote case.
"He has to join BJP for a hideout, otherwise he will be apprehended by the central BJP with this case and detained," KTR said.
KTR also mentioned that Revanth Reddy, although a Congress leader, is working towards the victory of some BJP candidates by fielding weak candidates from the Congress, which indicates his affinity with the BJP.
"Revanth came from BJP, then moved to TDP, then TRS for a while, and now in Congress, but will eventually return to BJP," KTR concluded.
KTR also predicted that Congress government in Karnataka also would be dismantled by BJP after the elections. We need to observe what unfolds in the future.
On the other hand, KTR's sister Kavitha, a former MP, is currently facing a liquor scam case and is presently imprisoned in Tihar jail on remand.
