List Of 'Least Wealthy Candidates' In 2024 Polls

We keep reading about the wealthiest candidates who are contesting the 2024 LS Polls. But here is a look at the least wealthy candidates in the list.  

Laxman Nagorao Patil, an independent candidate from Nanded, Maharashtra, has the lowest assets at ?500. 

Then comes in the list is Rajeswari KR from Kasaragod of Kerala with assets valued at Rs 1,000. 

Pruthvisamrat Mukindrao Dipwansh who is contesting from Amravati of Maharashtra holds the third spot with Rs 1,400 in assets. 

Shahnaz Bano, representing the Dalit Kranti Dal in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, has declared assets of Rs 2,000 and is identified as a housewife, educated till 8th standard, with a social worker spouse.

VP Kochumon, a Socialist Unity Centre of India (Communist) candidate from Kottayam of Kerala ranks fifth among the least wealthy candidates' list with assets worth Rs 2,230. 

These individuals despite their modest financial backgrounds, are actively participating in the democratic process adding diversity to the electoral landscape.
