Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge urged people to vote for his party warning against granting a third term to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Speaking at a rally in Maharashtra's Dhule constituency where Congress nominated former MLA Shobha Bachhav... Kharge emphasized the importance of saving democracy and the Constitution by choosing the Congress.
Kharge said that under a continued Modi Shah regime the rights of the poor, Dalits and tribals would be undermined taking back to pre Independence oppression.
He stressed that voting in the upcoming elections particularly in Dhule scheduled for May 20 was crucial for safeguarding the nation's future and preventing a return to subjugation.
Kharge criticized Modi for unfulfilled promises including bringing back black money and creating jobs. He accused the Prime Minister of spreading misinformation and failing to improve the lives of farmers.
Kharge urged voters to reject Modi's leadership and vote for the Congress to ensure the protection of constitutional values and the welfare of all citizens.
