Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal, questioned RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat about the 75 year age limit applied to senior BJP leader L.K. Advani but not to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking at Jantar Mantar after resigning as CM, Kejriwal criticized Modi’s methods, alleging he breaks parties and includes corrupt leaders in the BJP. He asked if the RSS approves of Modi’s use of agencies like the ED and CBI to threaten or lure opposition leaders.
Kejriwal also questioned Bhagwat’s response to BJP chief J.P. Nadda’s statement that the party doesn't need the RSS. He announced he would vacate the CM’s bungalow after Shraadh and live among the people. Accused of corruption in the Delhi liquor policy case, Kejriwal was released from Tihar jail on bail on September 13. He emphasized that he entered politics to serve the country, not for power or position.
