Sources from Hyderabad say that K. Chandrasekhara Rao, the former Chief Minister of Telangana, is not shaken by the arrest of his daughter Kavitha in the Delhi liquor scam.
The source says, "Many assumed that KCR would be down with depression after Kavita's arrest. But he is not shaken at all and is happily taking part in the campaign for the Lok Sabha elections on behalf of the party by meeting people and addressing press meets."
The same source also states that former Minister K.T. Rama Rao, also known as KTR, who is the son of KCR, is also unmoved by the phone tapping case tightening around him.
"The family, which has seen enough harassment and resistance during the Telangana movement, is not taking any arrests seriously; rather, they may feel that such arrests would boost their political mileage. They are fighters. It is very difficult for any power center to dampen the spirits of the KCR family with arrests," the inside source said.
We need to see how the political situation unfolds down the line in Telangana which is observed as a tiff between BRS and BJP.
