Political News
Presence on social media platforms proves inevitable for politicians who wish to remain relevant in society, especially during times of 'no-power' in hand.
Now, former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, who was never been in social media, also joins the list of social media users.
KCR recently joined social media platforms X and Instagram on April 27 bycoinciding with Bharat Rashtra Samithi's (BRS) 23rd anniversary. He greeted party members on X and posted his photo on Instagram as his first post.
In a X post he criticized the Congress-led state government for power interruptions citing an incident during lunch with party members when the power went out twice.
He highlighted the discrepancy between government claims and daily experiences of power cuts in different constituencies.
Names @KCRBRSPresident on both platforms, his posts received positive responses from party members and supporters including his grandson K Himanshu Rao.
This move marks KCR's entry into the digital sphere allowing him to directly communicate with supporters and address political issues.
We have to see what sparks would he emit from these platforms.
