BJP Loses In Ram Mandir's Constituency

Among many shocks in today's election results, this is another significant one. 

Lallu Singh, the BJP LS candidate for the Faizabad constituency, has lost his seat to Samajwadi Party candidate Awadhesh Prasad by a margin of 4,791 votes.

The shock is that this constituency is the site of the Ram Mandir, which was built under the leadership of Narendra Modi and inaugurated by him in February 2024.

Despite the development activities related to the Ram Mandir benefiting the people in and around the region, this seat has unexpectedly slipped from the BJP's grasp for unknown reasons.
