BJP Leader's Promise: Golden Temple In Hyderabad

Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar pledged to transform the Bhagyalaxmi temple at Charminar in Hyderabad into a "golden temple" if the BJP wins power in Telangana. 

After praying at the temple on Thursday night June 20 he credited the blessings of the Goddess for his appointment as Union Minister of State for Home Affairs and for the BJP's favorable position in the state.

He attributed the BJP's success in Telangana to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and the efforts of BJP activists. 

Kumar expressed gratitude to the people for their support in the Lok Sabha elections and committed to developing his constituency.

He visited the temple with Union Minister G Kishan Reddy following a celebratory event hosted by party leaders in honor of their election victories. The BJP secured eight out of the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
