Union Minister Amit Shah submitted his papers to run for election in Gandhinagar. He stated his assets, worth 36 crore rupees, in his submission.
Shah's assets include 20 crore rupees in movable property, like money and jewelry, and 16 crore rupees in immovable property, like land or buildings. His wife, Sonal Shah, owns assets worth over 31 crore rupees.
Their combined assets have increased from 30.49 crore rupees in 2019 to 65.67 crore rupees now. They also have loans, totaling about 42 crore rupees.
Amit Shah's income last year was 75.09 lakh rupees, and his wife's was 39.54 lakh rupees. He earns money from being a Member of Parliament, renting out properties, farming, and investments.
Amit Shah identified himself as a farmer and social worker in his paperwork. He disclosed three legal cases against him.
Gujarat will hold elections for all its 26 Lok Sabha seats on May 7th, 2024. The national election results will be announced on June 4th, 2024.
