Yogendra Yadav, political activist and leader of Bharat Jodo Abhiyan, has raised serious concerns about an attack on him during a public conference in Akola, Maharashtra.
Yadav claims he was assaulted by a crowd of 50-60 people while speaking at an event on "Protection of Constitution and Our Vote" as part of the Vidarbha tour.
He stated, "A mob of 40-50 people stormed the stage and moved towards me to stop me from speaking." Even after the police arrived, the attackers continued their assault and caused vandalism. Yadav described the incident as alarming and a matter of grave concern for all who value democracy.
