Yes.. they both fell in love… and eloped

Usually, when a boy and a girl fall in love, the elders from both families try to oppose it for various reasons — property, status, caste, religion, and so on. Some give in to the pressure and separate. Others rebel and elope. We’ve seen many such stories in movies. Love is unpredictable — it can happen anytime, anywhere, and to anyone. Love doesn’t care about age.

It can blossom during teenage years, in youth, in middle age, or even in old age. Love doesn’t follow any rules or boundaries. And yes, such things have actually happened in real life too.

Recently, an unusual incident took place in Uttar Pradesh, where a mother-in-law and her future son-in-law fell in love and eloped. This isn’t a case of an aunt or distant relative — this is the actual would-be mother-in-law, the woman who was supposed to give her daughter in marriage. But instead, she chose to marry the groom herself!

They clearly didn’t care about the conventional norms or relationships. What mattered was the love that bloomed between them.

The daughter’s wedding was already fixed. The mother herself had chosen the groom. The wedding was just nine days away. Since it was getting close, the groom started visiting the bride’s house more frequently. In this process, the mother-in-law and the groom got closer and eventually fell in love. They felt, “Is love really this sweet?”

As the wedding approached, the mother-in-law and the groom went out shopping together. But before leaving, the woman took cash and jewelry from the house. And that was it — they never returned. They both eloped together.

The woman’s husband has filed a police complaint. And that’s the story...!
