In a disturbing incident that has shocked society, a woman from West Bengal allegedly convinced her husband to sell his kidney and then ran away with her lover using the money. The couple also has a 10-year-old daughter.
How It Happened
The woman, a resident of Sankrail in Howrah district, persuaded her husband by saying that a person can survive with one kidney and that the money from the sale could be used for their daughter’s education and future marriage. After constant pressure, the husband agreed.
For nearly a year, they searched for a buyer and eventually found one. The man sold his kidney and received Rs 10 lakh, believing it would secure his family's future.
A Shocking Betrayal
However, instead of using the money for the family, the woman had other plans. She had developed an extramarital affair with a painter from Barrackpore, whom she met on Facebook. As soon as she got the money, she eloped with her lover, leaving her husband and daughter behind.
Husband’s Fight for Justice
Realizing the betrayal, the devastated husband filed a police complaint. He even tracked his wife down to Barrackpore and went there with his parents and daughter to confront her.
However, the woman refused to open the door, showing no remorse. Even her 10-year-old daughter’s pleas failed to melt her heart.
This shocking incident has left many in disbelief, highlighting a heartbreaking case of betrayal and deception.
