'We Want the Same' Says Raut on Mamata Banerjee's Statement

Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has welcomed West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee’s recent statement expressing her readiness to lead the opposition INDIA Bloc if given the opportunity.

Addressing reporters, Raut said, "We are aligned with Mamata ji’s vision. We also want her to play a key role in the INDIA alliance. Be it Didi, Arvind Kejriwal, or Shiv Sena, we are united. We will soon travel to Kolkata to discuss this matter with her."

Mamata’s Proposal to Lead INDIA Bloc

Mamata Banerjee, in an interview with News18 Bangla on Friday, expressed her dissatisfaction with the current functioning of the INDIA Bloc. She stated that she could balance her role as the Chief Minister of West Bengal while simultaneously taking on the leadership responsibilities of the alliance.

Mamata highlighted her significant contribution to the formation of the INDIA Bloc and asserted, "If given the opportunity, I can ensure the alliance functions smoothly. I am capable of leading it effectively from Bengal."

This announcement has sparked discussions within the opposition alliance, with leaders like Raut showing support for Mamata’s potential leadership.
