Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri criticized Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a tweet, accusing him of spreading lies about EWS flats being allotted to Rohingyas.
Puri asserted that no such flats had been given and accused Kejriwal's MLA of settling Rohingyas in Delhi, providing them voter IDs, free rations, water, electricity, and Rs10,000 each to secure their votes. He alleged this support endangered national security.
Puri called Kejriwal's actions deceitful, claiming his repeated lies were aimed at misleading the public despite clarifications from the Home Ministry and himself on the same day of the controversy. He condemned Kejriwal’s alleged tactics as an example of "low-level politics," urging him to stop spreading misinformation.
Puri’s remarks aimed to highlight what he sees as political manipulation and security risks linked to Kejriwal’s alleged support for the Rohingya community.
