UP MP Breaks Down in Tears

In an emotional press conference, Ayodhya MP Awadhesh Prasad broke down in tears, expressing his helplessness over the brutal murder of a 22-year-old Dalit woman in his constituency. He even announced his resignation, saying he failed to protect her. This shocking incident took place in Uttar Pradesh and has sparked widespread discussions.

The Tragic Incident

Last Thursday, a Dalit woman from a village in the Ayodhya parliamentary constituency went missing. Her worried family searched for her and finally lodged a police complaint on Friday night. However, the family alleged that the police failed to act swiftly.

Tragically, the next day, the woman's body was found in a canal, just half a kilometer from her village. The victim’s hands and legs were tied, and her eyes were gouged out, according to her devastated family.

MP's Emotional Breakdown

On Sunday, MP Awadhesh Prasad visited the victim’s family and was deeply moved by their grief. Overcome with emotion, he declared, "If I couldn't save her, what is the use of my position? I will resign." His tears and helplessness moved everyone present.

Political Reactions

Former Minister Narayan Pandey Pawan and Samajwadi Party district president Prashant Yadav consoled the MP and urged him to fight for justice instead of resigning. Prasad later vowed to take the matter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and ensure the victim's family gets justice.

This heart-wrenching case has sparked outrage, with demands for a fair and swift investigation into the brutal murder
