US President Donald Trump has appointed Indian-origin journalist Kush Desai as the Deputy Press Secretary at the White House. The White House announced this in a statement.
Previously, Desai served as the Communications Director for the 2024 Republican National Convention and as the Deputy Director for the Iowa Republican Party.
He also worked as the Press Secretary in key battleground states, contributing significantly to Trump's victories in seven crucial states.
The appointment of Desai to this prestigious role was officially announced by the White House on Friday.
