They Burned My Auto: Gadkari's Intriguing Remarks

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari made yet another intriguing statement, emphasizing that today’s politics is solely about power. Expressing concern over the current state of politics, he said it has completely transformed. Gadkari was speaking at a felicitation event for Rajasthan Governor Haribhai Kisanrao Bagde in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar on Friday.

Reflecting on his time as an RSS worker, Gadkari mentioned facing numerous challenges during his early political career. He recalled working for 20 years as a party worker in Vidarbha, where people used to throw stones at their rallies. He also shared a personal anecdote about an incident post-Emergency when his auto-rickshaw, used for delivering speeches, was set on fire by some individuals.

Gadkari attributed his current success and recognition to leaders like Haribhai Kisanrao Bagde, humbly stating that any recognition he has received is not solely his achievement. This statement comes shortly after Gadkari made headlines for commenting on being offered the Prime Minister's position, which sparked much discussion.
