Thackeray Cousins May Join Hands

Raj Thackeray, leader of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), has expressed readiness to collaborate with his cousin and Shiv Sena (UBT) chief, Uddhav Thackeray, for the greater good of Maharashtra and Marathi people. Speaking in a podcast with Mahesh Manjrekar, Raj said that he is willing to overlook minor issues if Uddhav is also open to working together.

Uddhav Thackeray responded at a party event, agreeing that he too is ready to put aside differences for the sake of Maharashtra and the Marathi language. However, he laid a condition — Raj must stop associating with those who are against Maharashtra or support anti-Maharashtra ideologies.

Raj emphasized that Maharashtra's welfare is his top priority and is ready to move past disputes. Uddhav echoed this sentiment but insisted on a clear commitment to Maharashtra’s values and even suggested Raj take an oath in front of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
