Slap Fight Between BJP Leader and Police Officer

A heated argument between a BJP leader and a police officer escalated into a physical fight, where both slapped each other. The video clip of the incident has gone viral on social media.

The incident took place in Chitradurga district, Karnataka. On Friday at midnight, a group of people had gathered near Durgada Siri Hotel Road.

While passing by in a vehicle, the police noticed the gathering. Sub-Inspector Gadilinga Gowdar asked them to disperse. This angered Madhugiri BJP district president Hanumantha Gowda, who abused the police officer and attempted to assault him. In response, the police officer slapped the BJP leader. Hanumantha Gowda then retaliated, leading to a full-blown fight between the two.

Meanwhile, other police personnel and bystanders intervened to separate them. Following the altercation, both the BJP leader and the police officer filed complaints against each other, leading to legal cases.
