Coldplay's upcoming concert in Ahmedabad on January 25, 2025 has left many fans disappointed after tickets sold out in less than an hour. Released on BookMyShow the tickets quickly vanished, frustrating those who were stuck in long online queues. To make matters worse tickets were soon spotted being resold at exorbitant prices on platforms like Viagogo with some listed for as high as Rs 9.9 lakh.
For instance tickets for the South Premium section are priced at Rs 2 lakh each and others are starting at Rs 12,000. Fans took to social media to express their outrage with many humorously commenting on the situation. In response to these complaints, the Enforcement Directorate has launched an investigation into these unauthorized resale practices.
The high demand for Coldplay's India tour has only intensified the frustration surrounding the ticketing issue.
