Shiv Sena MP Naresh Mhaske reiterated CM Eknath Shinde’s stance of prioritizing Maharashtra's progress over political power. Referring to Shinde's recent press conference Mhaske stated that their party is not fixated on retaining the chief ministerial position and fully supports decisions made by the Mahayuti alliance. He emphasized, "We are not like Uddhav Thackeray who left the alliance for the CM's chair."
Mhaske revealed that a meeting was held with Union Home Minister Amit Shah focusing solely on the state's development and prosperity. The delegation urged the central government to continue its support for Maharashtra as it has in the past.
Mhaske affirmed that the discussions aimed to ensure sustained growth and happiness for the people of the state. This statement underscores the Shiv Sena’s commitment to the Mahayuti alliance and its developmental agenda.
