SC Directs Completion of 'Gali' Case Investigations in Four Months

The Supreme Court has expressed dissatisfaction over delays in the investigation of cases against BJP leader Gali Janardhan Reddy related to the Obulapuram mining scam.

Despite granting the CBI a four-month extension on September 30 last year, officials recently sought additional time, prompting the bench to criticize the repeated delays. The court has now directed that the investigations must be completed within four months, stating no further extensions will be granted.

The investigation into these cases has been ongoing since 2011.
