Sanjay Singh Threatens Defamation Suit Against BJP Leaders Over Wife's Voter Issue

AAP leader Sanjay Singh has strongly criticized BJP leaders for allegedly targeting his wife, Anita Singh, claiming that efforts are being made to remove her name from the voter list in Delhi. Singh accused BJP MP Manoj Tiwari and IT Cell head Amit Malviya of attempting to delete his wife's voter registration and warned that he would file a defamation case against them.

Raising the issue in Parliament, Sanjay Singh alleged that BJP leaders are trying to remove names of Purvanchali voters from electoral rolls. He further accused BJP President J.P. Nadda of referring to Purvanchal residents as "Rohingyas and Bangladeshis." Singh expressed anger over BJP's alleged actions, stating that many Purvanchal residents have been living in Delhi for 30-40 years, contributing significantly to its development, but are now being labeled as foreigners.

According to Singh, BJP's move to remove his wife's voter name is a retaliation for him raising this issue in Parliament. He announced his intention to file a defamation suit and demanded an explanation from Amit Malviya and Manoj Tiwari, asserting that they should answer in court for defaming him and his wife.
