A couple from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Rajeev and Rashmi Dubey scammed dozens of elderly people out of Rs 35 crore by claiming they could reverse aging with an 'Israel-made time machine'.
They set up a therapy center, 'Revival World,' and promised to transform seniors into younger versions of themselves using 'oxygen therapy'.
They convinced people that polluted air was aging them rapidly, and their therapy could restore youth. Packages ranged from Rs 6,000 for 10 sessions to Rs 90,000 for a three-year plan. One victim Renu Singh, filed a complaint after losing Rs 10.75 lakh alleging that hundreds were cheated. The police registered a case and are searching for the couple who are suspected to have fled abroad.
