Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is visiting Delhi shortly after returning from a trip abroad sparking political speculation. The Congress party plans to relaunch 'Operation Akarsh,' aiming to attract six more BRS MLAs, especially from Hyderabad.
Revanth Reddy also the TPCC president seeks the party high command's approval for this move. Amid rumors that some BRS MLAs might join the BJP which is promising them a "bright future," Reddy intends to counteract these defections by offering Cabinet rank chairperson positions in state run corporations.
Additionally he will discuss the pending Cabinet expansion and TPCC appointments. The delay in these decisions has discouraged some BRS MLAs from joining Congress while the BJP remains confident about forming the next Telangana government. Reddy's trip aims to solidify his party's strategy against these challenges as Congress has already gained 10 BRS MLAs in the past eight months.
