Rahul Gandhi's Fight On 'Shakti' In Hinduism

Aiming verbal attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused the manipulation of the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) claiming, “The soul of the King resides in the EVM.”

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, Rahul Gandhi addressed the crowd emphasizing, “There exists a power in Hinduism known as ‘Shakti.’ We are combatting against this power. The question arises, what is this power? It is the essence of the King embedded within the EVM. This is a reality. The essence of the King exists within the EVM, permeating every institution of our nation, including the ED, CBI, and Income Tax department".

“We embarked on this journey because today’s media fails to spotlight crucial issues plaguing our nation – Unemployment, inflation, farmers’ concerns, and the Agniveer issue. These matters seem to be absent from the media’s narrative,” stated Gandhi.

Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge added, "The 'Shakti' to which Rahul Gandhi referred openly manifests in the form of RSS and Manuvaad for Modiji... Their aim is to suppress us utilizing this power."
