Rahul Gandhi Didn't Greet The President?

Rahul Gandhi faced criticism from the BJP for allegedly not greeting President Droupadi Murmu, a tribal woman, during the Constitution Day event in Parliament. BJP IT cell chief Amit Malviya accused Gandhi of arrogance, suggesting he ignored the President due to her background. A video shared by BJP leaders shows other leaders, including PM Narendra Modi and Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, greeting Murmu, while Gandhi walked away, waiting for Kharge.

BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla echoed similar sentiments, calling Gandhi an "entitled arrogant dynast." The allegations gained traction online as part of political sparring.

During the event marking the 75th anniversary of the Constitution’s adoption, President Murmu highlighted the progressive nature of the Constitution, emphasizing its role in achieving social justice and inclusive development. She celebrated women’s contributions to the Constitution and the women’s reservation law as a milestone for empowerment, releasing Maithili and Sanskrit versions of the document.
