Prashant Kishor's New Predicton About Bihar

Prashant Kishor's New Predicton About Bihar

Prashant Kishor, founder of the Jan Suraaj Party, ridiculed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s claim of winning 220 seats in the 2025 Assembly elections. Kishor predicted the Janata Dal (United) would struggle to win even 20 seats, citing widespread public dissatisfaction with Kumar’s leadership.

He argued that both the JD(U) and the BJP would face defeat due to frustration over Kumar’s governance, particularly his bureaucratic "Officer Raj" style which lacks accountability. Kishor also dismissed the idea of a JD(U) alliance with the NDA or the Grand Alliance claiming the party would still fare poorly.

He challenged the BJP to declare Nitish Kumar as their chief ministerial candidate, predicting it would backfire like the JD(U)’s poor performance in the 2020 elections. Kishor accused the BJP of prioritizing its interests in Delhi over Bihar’s welfare, asserting their alliance with Kumar was a political mistake that would ultimately harm them in the election.
