The officer, identified as DSP Ramachandrappa of the Madhugiri Division, reportedly behaved inappropriately with the woman. He allegedly took her near the restroom and harassed her sexually.

A video clip secretly recorded during the incident has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage. The incident occurred in Pavagada, the home district of Karnataka’s Home Minister, Dr. Parameshwara, leading to widespread criticism.

The issue has also triggered political controversy, with many condemning the behavior of the police officer. Since the video surfaced, the officer has been untraceable.
