PM Modi Targets Jharkhand's Corrupt Leaders

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the JMM-led coalition in Jharkhand calling it an "Infiltrators' Alliance" and accusing it of supporting Bangladeshi infiltrators which he claimed threatens the state’s tribal population. He described Jharkhand's coalition leaders as "mafia's slaves" and alleged that corruption under their leadership has become rampant eating away at the state’s resources like termites.

Addressing a rally in Garhwa, Modi warned that the coalition's appeasement politics endangers Jharkhand's social structure accusing them of using Bangladeshi infiltrators for vote bank politics. He argued that this alliance promotes social division and restricts religious practices, citing curfews during festivals and bans on Saraswati Vandana in schools as examples.

Modi also alleged that thousands of crores sent by the Centre for state development schemes are being misused by corrupt leaders. This was his first visit to Jharkhand since the assembly election dates were announced.
