Prime Minister Narendra Modi was awarded Kuwait's highest honor, "The Order of Mubarak Al Kabeer," during his state visit, marking the 20th international award conferred on him. The prestigious knighthood is granted to heads of state and royal members, previously bestowed on leaders like Bill Clinton and Prince Charles. Modi dedicated the award to the people of India and the strong ties between India and Kuwait.
Last month, he received Guyana's highest award, "The Order of Excellence," and Dominica's "Award of Honour," further recognizing his contributions to international relations. Modi attributed these honors to India's 140 crore citizens and the strengthening of bilateral ties.
During his Kuwait visit, he was welcomed with a ceremonial guard of honor at Bayan Palace, where he held extensive talks with Kuwait's leadership, including the Amir, Crown Prince, and Prime Minister, underscoring the depth of India-Kuwait relations.
