AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, calling it a grave intelligence failure. Speaking to the media, the Hyderabad MP criticized the Narendra Modi-led government for not preventing the massacre, which claimed at least 26 lives, including tourists from the UAE and Nepal, as well as local residents. Owaisi described the incident as more horrifying and painful than previous attacks in Uri and Pulwama.
He stressed the need for immediate accountability and questioned the effectiveness of the government’s deterrence policy. Owaisi stated that terrorists, allegedly coming from a neighboring country, targeted innocent civilians after asking their religion, highlighting the brutality of the attack. He called for strict action and justice for the victims’ families, while also warning that such incidents could seriously damage Kashmir’s tourism industry.
The AIMIM leader expressed solidarity with the victims’ families and wished a swift recovery for the injured.
