Our Family is Indebted to You: Priyanka Gandhi in Wayanad Rally

Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi expressed deep gratitude towards the people of Wayanad, saying they stood by her brother Rahul Gandhi when the world was against him. She praised the unwavering support they provided, which enabled him to undertake the 8,000-kilometer-long Bharat Jodo Yatra. "Our family is indebted to you for standing with him," she stated. Although Rahul Gandhi had to step away from Wayanad, she promised to strengthen the bond between him and the people.

Before filing her nomination for the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat, Priyanka, along with Rahul, led a roadshow in Kalpetta. She then addressed a public rally, acknowledging the issues of the Wayanad constituency. Priyanka assured the people that she would now directly work towards understanding and resolving their problems.

Having campaigned for Congress across various states for 35 years, Priyanka noted that this was the first time she was campaigning for herself. She appealed to the people to elect her with a resounding majority. The polling for the Wayanad Lok Sabha by-election is scheduled for November 20, with the results to be declared on November 23.
