Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar assured Union Home Minister Amit Shah that he would never again break ties with the BJP, admitting past separations were mistakes. Speaking at a rally in Patna, he attributed his 2022 split to internal party issues but promised unwavering support moving forward. The event also marked the launch of several state and central projects.
Kumar highlighted Bihar’s progress since 2005, particularly in healthcare and education, emphasizing his government’s achievements. He expressed confidence in his alliance with the BJP, receiving strong support from the crowd. Meanwhile, Amit Shah inaugurated projects worth Rs 800 crore and criticized the previous Lalu-Rabri regime.
Shah accused Lalu Yadav’s government of corruption and lawlessness, stating it defamed Bihar. He assured voters that the NDA would return to power with a strong majority, preventing a return to "jungle raj" and ensuring continued development.
