Naxalism is in its Final Stages: Amit Shah

In an encounter at Gariaband in Chhattisgarh, 12 Maoists were killed. The SP of Gariaband confirmed that the bodies of the 12 Maoists were recovered.

It was reported that yesterday, DRG forces from Gariaband and Odisha SOG conducted a combing operation, during which one of their personnel was injured in the gunfire.

Central Home Minister Amit Shah praised the security forces for their success in this encounter. He hailed their achievement as another significant victory in the effort to build a Naxal-free India. 

He tweeted, "This is another strong blow to Naxalism. In a joint operation between the forces of Chhattisgarh and Odisha, along with CRPF, 14 Naxals were killed. Naxalism in the country is breathing its last."
