Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh a couple of days ago to address the public and urge them to vote for the NDA alliance comprising BJP, TDP, and Janasena in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections.
Modi initiated this alliance with Chandrababu Naidu of TDP after a break-up of 5 years.
Following his address, Modi departed from the location and proceeded to tour Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
During this tour, he tweeted, "I will be addressing rallies in Jagtial and Shivamogga today. Later in the evening, will join the roadshow in Coimbatore. Be it Telangana, Karnataka, or Tamil Nadu, there is exceptional fervor in the NDA’s favor."
It's noteworthy that Modi mentioned Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu in his tweet but omitted any mention of Andhra Pradesh despite having visited the state just a day earlier.
Speculation among netizens suggests that Modi's exclusion of Andhra Pradesh indicates his lack of confidence in the NDA's prospects in the region, after observing the scenario personally.
Sources from Andhra Pradesh indicate that the event organized for the alliance leaders to address the public turned out to be a major disappointment. The turnout was lower than expected and several technical glitches hindered Modi's speech.
Additionally it was mentioned that Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan allegedly insulted Modi by failing to present him with a bouquet and shawl, despite the anchor announcing and waiting for their gesture.
